It will work for any kind of Hair! I use my to cut my stubble before shaving? I used it to trim my eyebrows and around my ear. Also cutting the unwanted hair on my back. We use it to trim our dogs noses. It has combs to shorten your chest hair to any length. This is a great set of trimmers and was the best investment my Father and I made. Now if you wanted to have no hair on your chest then you would use this to shorten hair and then shave with a razor. Hope this help?

Yes, the Clippers are the best thing we have ever bought!! It comes with 3 blades, several combs & case. I use it to trim around my ears all the time and when you get older to trim eyebrows. It also great for the beard and cutting razor stubble. Very well made Clippers they are worth the investment.

Does this have the no snag guarantee like other Wahl clippers?

This unit will probably snag the first couple times you use it if you don't sharpen it first. Sharpening it is the same as sharpening any 'normal' clipper. Pop the head off, separate the blades, use 300 grit sandpaper on the flat smooth sides that lay against each other, put it back together. BOOM - it's how it's done, son.

Are the blades stamped or are they ground Sharp

Stamped. But easily sharpened and if cared for can last 3x or more than battery operated styles.
