I used 40 of these to secure a bannister around some stairs in our living room and to provide a stylish, rugged look at the same time. The screws provided were very high quality and large in diameter which allowed for a secure connection in soft wood. The steel used is durable, thick, and powder coated. I’m very pleased with the look and quality and recommend the product.

Well designed & worked perfectly.

Worked just fine and is a nice on the eyes, only thing is screws need to be more aggressive. I swapped standard screws with a couple boxes of home depot black deckmate screws.

As a DIYer, I am always looking for a good product to install in my projects. I could have gone to Home Depot or Lowes and picked up their 22 gauge 90 degree brackets I could tell they would not have been sturdy enough to hold the weight I intend to apply on them. The Ironwood brackets I would say are 12 gauge thick, heavily panted and come with tapered lag bolts. The only dislike I have for the Ironwood brackets, there is a long and short bolt hole on the brackets. I failed to realize this and only noticed after I had installed about twenty of them.
