A wooden 'rocker' base is fitted with a hand cut brass cover which traps the blotter paper, a machined brass plate and a brass engine turned handle which screws down to lock the whole in place. Each piece is individually hand polished, laquered and assembled. Replacement blotting paper strips are available.
