This 6 port model can control upto 6 devices via 6 small probes that attach to your hidden devices whilst one receiver probe remains in line of of the remote control(s) ... The IR Hub is particularly useful where AV system components such as your satellite receiver, Blu-ray player and AV amp are positioned out of line of for infra-red remote control, such as when in a cabinet behind closed doors. The IR Hub allows for remote control of these devices whilst they remain out of direct line of .. only one single, small receiver IR probe remains in view. . . We have designed the hub to power via USB so that you do not need to take up an AC plug socket. Use the USB cable INCLUDED to connect to any spare USB slot on any device in your AV system (eg AV Amp / Blu-ray player / Games Console etc) ..
