Lovingly handcrafted, we take pride in making sure every stick is that perfect stick your dog will go crazy for. Gathered from mostly Douglas Fir in the PNW forests, we bring them home and clean them up so they're perfect to throw and chew on. Callie (Border Collie in the photos) loves to chew on her sticks and play fetch with them. As our quality control supervisor she ran through the woods with me and sniffed these sticks out for your dog before we brought them to the wood shop for finishing. I love that they're plastic free since plastics contain s like phthalates, BPA, and BPF that leach out while your dog is chewing them. The sticks are packaged in a cardboard box, 4 per box, with no plastic packaging. Sticks are a sustainable choice compared to other pet toys that are manufactured in factories and shipped across oceans to get to your pup. Literally a stick from the woods, expect the stick to splinter, sliver, and shed pieces of wood. If you don't see any pieces take the stick from your dog, they should not be eating the wood. It is recommended to supervise your dog while they chew this stick. Consumption of wood can be toxic to dogs and swallowing splinters can lead to intestinal blockage. Safety Note: It is the responsibility of the pet owner to assess the suitability of any treat or toy. Always supervise your pet with chews and treats.
