Numbing and soothing
It's a gentler lozenge than Fisherman's, but not equally potent. You'll need to find the best spot to let it melt down your throat. It created a Novocain -like effect on the roof of my mouth, but worked like a charm once I tucked it in the near the molars. For some reason, it's been a real challenge trying to find Sucrets in my area. Get Sucrets if you want an effective lozenge, but don't want one that's too strong.
