Is there room to add a few more items such as aspirin?

I bought this due to the fact my husband had a heart attack. With that in mind, I took some items out and added others. One of the things I added was baby aspirin in the little tube. The small bottle of nitroglycerin. A powder that will stop bleeding, due to blood thinners. I think you will find some things you don’t need and you can switch out. Good luck!

Is this package water resistant?

The fabric is water-resistant, it has a PVC coating on the inside. However, the zippers are not water resistant. The bag and contents would be fine in a light rain, but we don't recommend submerging the bag in water. SusanThrive First Aid

What is the experation date on this kit?

Hi, Some components in the kit expire 3-4 years after production. So, it depends on the lot # (when it was produced) printed on the product packaging. Some components in the kits currently in stock at Amazon will expire in 2019. SusanThrive

The contents are in a ziplock bag inside the zippered pouch, so I would so kind of waterproof. If you want it to be totally waterproof I would consider vacuum packing some of the contents
