Rain BirdLG3HE In-Ground Impact Sprinkler with Click-N-Go Hose Connect

I don't normally leave reviews but this in ground sprinkler is amazing. We have flood irrigation for our yards, which after years has eroded several spots to make hills and valleys in our grass. We wanted to go with in ground sprinklers but the price tag was a bit out of range. Enter in this little piece of heaven. I was concerned that it wouldn't cover my large backyard and I would need several but this thing has a lot of range, so much that I had to cut it back because it was flying over my roof! 1 more than covered the grass space in my backyard and now I want one for the front. (My backyard grass area is about 75x50 ft for reference). I'm so happy about this purchase!

I can't express how happy I am with these. One in my small front yard in-ground, and one in my backyard installed in a planter. Seriously...not having to install a sprinkler system or having to move a sprinkler around. These are a NO-Brainer.

Makes watering a breeze. ONLY downfall is the sprinkler will sometimes hit the hose flooding it, but honestly I’ll take it… haven’t found a more convenient or better option! Allows for mowing and what not without having to move or readjust above ground sprinklers every time. LOVE!

I LOVE the fact that this sprinkler is easy to install and it hides itself away flush to the ground when not in use. Installation was so easy, but my one complaint which takes this down to only 4 stars is that the package was missing the quick connect part that attaches to the hose. In the middle of installation, I had to take a trip to the hardware store and make an additional purchase just to test the system out. I also saw no way to communicate with the seller in order to remedy the situation. If the package contained all parts I would give it 20 STARS because I am so pleased with how it performs.Even though I had this experience, I am still planning on purchasing another unit to install in the front yard. If you don't want to have to trench your yard and lay pipe down in order to have a convenient sprinkler, I HIGHLY recommend getting your hands on one or more of these beauties!

With some pex / npt adapters and 1/2 pvc irrigation hose, I was able to separate the hose connection from the sprinkler by a 20 ft; and with a splitter, I was able to install a second rain bird pop up sprinkler.I highly recommend using plumber's seal tape for every connection. That's what I did, and it tested with zero leaks.

Five star review, this the first day of installation despite not being able to find any warranty information from the manufacturer's website. Purchased the Asurion (?), two year protection package - just in case.The device serves my purpose and the instructions are in English.Be prepared to take a shower when changing the directional settings as (to the best of my knowledge) you can only adjust the spray coverage when the sprinkler head pops up.

I was initially impressed with how easy it was to install and adjust the spray pattern. The setup was straightforward, and I appreciated the flexibility in adjusting the coverage area.However, I encountered a significant issue with the hose connection. Every time I use the sprinkler, the hose connection fills with mud. I tried removing the mud and packing the area with gravel, hoping it would solve the problem. Unfortunately, after running the sprinkler, the hose connection continues to fill with mud, even with the gravel in place. This persistent issue has left me at a loss for a solution.Given the ongoing problem and the frustration it has caused, I am considering returning the sprinkler. Despite its easy installation and adjustable spray pattern, the mud issue at the hose connection is too much of a hassle to overlook.
